On Thursday, I got a call that my sisters goat had 3 new kids. I went over to lend a hand because she didn’t have a heat light and it was going to get down to about 25 degrees. When I arrived only one of the kids had been nursing and the smallest was acting week. We were able to mix up a concoction of the mothers milk, sugar, and boost and get several syringes into the ones that weren’t nursing. I left for about 30 minutes and when I returned all 3 were up and looked to be doing better but we still gave them more from the syringe and my sister was going to keep an eye on them through the night. I haven’t heard how they are doing but I assume no news is good news.
